ABOUT
Kabul Boston Consulting was born from a journey of resilience, service, and hope.
Our story began during the turmoil of the Taliban takeover in Afghanistan in August 2021, when I was forced to leave my homeland and family behind with only a backpack of leadership books and a heart full of uncertainty. Arriving in the United States as a refugee, I faced loneliness, cultural barriers, and the difficult process of rebuilding life from the ground up. Those challenges did not break my purpose; they shaped it.
I am Matin Sayed Hussainy, founder of Kabul Boston Consulting. My journey from Afghanistan to Boston has been guided by leadership, education, entrepreneurship, and a deep commitment to helping others rise. With a background in entrepreneurship, management, accounting, finance, and public economics, I have dedicated my work to supporting immigrants, refugees, small business owners, and underrepresented communities.
In the United States, I continued my academic and professional growth by earning my MBA from the University of Massachusetts Boston, with a focus on business analytics and financial decision-making. I have also worked with the Massachusetts Small Business Development Center, where I support entrepreneurs and small business owners through client intake, advising coordination, business development resources, and financial guidance
Through Kabul Boston Consulting, my mission is to make financial knowledge, business education, and entrepreneurship support more accessible to newcomers and underserved communities. I understand the barriers many immigrants and refugees face because I have lived them myself. That experience gives me not only professional knowledge, but also personal empathy.
Kabul Boston Consulting exists to empower people with the tools, confidence, and guidance they need to build stronger financial futures, launch sustainable businesses, and create opportunities for themselves and their communities.

Our Mission
Our mission is to empower immigrants, refugees, small business owners, and underrepresented communities with the knowledge, tools, and guidance they need to achieve financial stability, business success, and meaningful integration into society.
Through financial education, entrepreneurship training, and practical consulting support, we help individuals move from uncertainty to confidence, from survival to stability, and from ideas to action.

Goal 10: Reduced Inequalities
We address language, cultural, and systemic barriers by providing accessible support to communities that are often left out of traditional financial and business services.
Kabul Boston Consulting is more than a business. It is a bridge between struggle and opportunity, between knowledge and empowerment, and between newcomers and the systems they need to succeed. Together, we are building stronger financial futures, more inclusive communities, and opportunities that last.
